QLD Dance & Performing Arts Registration

Entry into QDPA is by application, audition and interview. Applications for enrolment should be made in writing by a parent or guardian for students under the age of 18 still attending school.

How to Register with QDPA

Download & submit a Registration form through email: info@qlddanceperformingarts.com.au.  A representative from the Dance Academy will notify you of receipt of your submission.

Audition Requirements

DVD Entry

For students who are unable to audition in person, please complete and send the registration form to:

Queensland Dance and Performing Arts
153 Railway Parade, Thorneside, QLD 4158

with your DVD audition which should not exceed 10 min in length.

The DVD audition should include one classical variation and any acrobatic skills (this is optional). A representative from the Academy will notify you of receipt of your submission and results. Please contact us with any questions.

Audition Procedure

Classical Ballet and Contemporary- Prospective students will participate in an open classical ballet and contemporary class. Please wear appropriate classical ballet attire (girls to bring pointe shoes if applicable)

No audition for Acrobatics or Circus required, however some experience is desirable.

Please note that there is no enrolment cut-off date and we accept applications mid year (June) and end of year (December). The Academy accepts mid year June intake for full time diploma.
